MENTAL CRUMBS GAMEPLAYS is a YouTube channel with the controversial username of 666 created some time after July 2, 2022.[1]
History[]
On September 8, 2005, someone created a YouTube account with the username 666 and got it suspended. Being named after the number of the beast it was believed the channel had some satanic videos on it but there was never concrete proof of this. Some time between June 10, 2010 [2] and March 29, 2011[3] the user was terminated and with no chance of being forgiven YouTube was safe from such a user using the number of the beast as their username. While terminated channels would have a blatant banner telling this if their username was put into the URL bar, this would change in 2018 and they would just show as a channel that never existed with the description "This channel does not exist" meaning the channel would not show as terminated anymore. In 2019 this was pushed further not even showing a channel that doesn't exist but a monkey saying "This page isn't available". The user seemed to be very cleared from YouTube until in 2022 YouTube changed how usernames are displayed from /user/ and /c/ to /@ making it so new channels would have their username properly show by default for the first time since 2014. As more new usernames were created one user with the channel named MENTAL CRUMBS GAMEPLAYS would use the username 666 bringing back what was thought to be lost forever. The channel has only one video as of April 4, 2023 and it has no relation whatsoever to what 666 means meaning the user could be unaware of what their username means. There is a creepy pasta behind the original channel but as the lostmediaarchive is only for official evidence that information will not be shared here. and according to social blade, channel 666 had more than 6.7 thousand subscribers when it was eliminated 5. However, sometime in late July 2025, the channel got reinstated with no @ username. [4]
