This "All-New Popeye Hour" was broadcast on NHK General from 1980 to 1984.
It sometimes ran for 15 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes, and also aired "The All-New Safety Show."
Shigeo Takamatsu provided the voice of Popeye.
For the video version, Mitsuru Urano took over the role.
On Cartoon Network, the English theme song was used, but the voice actors were different.
