Animal Tales is a 1997 American, nature-documentary, children's, family, television series. Not much info about the series is available currently, but it aired on PBS. It may have been a short-lived series and it is uncertain how many episodes were produced in total, but each episode might had been split into two segments. The episodes that are known for certain are taken from the 4-volume VHS tapes and are listed below, though may not necessarily be in the correct, airing order.
Plot[]
Live-action footage of wildlife meets original stories that are narrated over it in the vein of Aesop's Fables. There are other voiceovers provided for the animals in the stories. There are also segments with a man who talks about animal facts. Other information that is hazy involves a man named Clark and his daughter, whose name isn't mentioned, is either told the stories about the animals by her dad as the scenes are transitioned towards the animals or they visit a zoo and he tells the stories to her about the captive animals while they're there. Clark might be the same man who gives his expertise about animals. The animals in the stories undergo and face experiences as they learn life lessons along the way.

Status[]
As this is such a rare series, there are episodes of it on Youtube with the episode titles themselves, but only as two-minute clips, as the majority of each of them is missing. However, copies of the VHS tapes have been easier to find on Amazon and Ebay. There are still no videos at all of the episodes in full online.
