The only footage available online are a few snippets seen in a promo video found on YouTube. I have personally emailed 2 of the 3 creators, (one of whom has confirmed that she doesn't have a copy, and one of whom hasn't replied) and Fred Seibert, (who produced the Nicktoons Film Festival, for which the short was originally produced) who sadly, does not have a copy either. Currently awaiting a reply from the 2nd creator...

Attack of the Giant Vulture is a once-lost short film that appeared on Nickelodeon's Short Films by Short People series; a program that showcased short films made by kids. It aired a few times in the late 90s-early 2000s.

The short involves a giant vulture chasing a group of kids down to try and eat them, culminating with the kids instead reversing the situation by capturing, cooking and eating the bird. Some report that it was particularly frightening for them as children.

The Paley Center for Media[1] in California were confirmed as having a copy of Nick's Creative Lab Comp Reel (containing Attack of the Giant Vulture), and a screening was organised to take place on February 17 (although the turnout was less than hoped for, and no-one recorded a bootleg copy). Several days after the screening, however, on the 23rd, a VHS rip of the entire First Ever Short Films by Short People Film Festival was uploaded by myspleen.org user snowpeck,[2] and the video was finally made widely available for all to enjoy.[3] Thanks snowpeck!!!
