"Attack of the Giant Vulture" is a once-lost short film that appeared on Nickelodeon's "Short Films by Short People" series; a show that showcased short films made by kids. It aired a few times in the late 90s-early 2000s.
The short involves a giant vulture chasing a group of kids down to try and eat them, culminating with the kids capturing, cooking and eating the bird. Some report that it was particularly frightening for them as children.
The Paley Center for Media in California were confirmed as having a copy of Nick's Creative Lab Comp Reel (containing Attack of the Giant Vulture), and a screening was organised to take place on February 17th (although the turnout was less than hoped for). Several days after the screening, however, a VHS rip of the entire First Ever Short Films by Short People Festival was uploaded by snowpeck over at MySpleen.org, and the video was finally made widely available for all to enjoy.
