Beach House are a dream pop band from Baltimore, Maryland that formed in 2004. They have garnered themselves a large amount of critical acclaim and success. Perhaps their most impressive effort was their third album, Teen Dream, which was considered one of the best albums of 2010.
The album was released with two discs. One disc was a CD full of the music, as to be expected. The other disc was a DVD with a music video for every song on the album. The band contacted quite a few production teams on YouTube to produce a few of the videos. According to a couple of the teams contacted, alternate versions of some of the videos were made and rejected in favor of the ones that were chosen. For whatever reason, the remaining videos have not found their way online.
While it is understandable why the videos were scrapped, fans have been curious as to what they were like. As most of the production teams that made some of these videos went on to various film-making careers, this also leaves some film enthusiasts high and dry as well. It's not a loss that has kept Beach House fans biting their nails, but still an interesting bit of lost media nonetheless.
