Big Block Singsong is a Canadian children's animated musical group created by Warren Brown and Adam Goddard. They are best known for their regular series of animated music videos which have aired as interstitial programming on channels such as Disney Junior in the United States, Nick Jr. in the UK, ABC Kids in Australia and CBC Kids in Canada since 2012.

Originally, in 2007-2009, The show was originally named “Big Box” and “Bigbox Singsong”. There were characters that looked similar to the characters we see now as you can see here.

BIGBOX SINGSONG is an expanding series of singing box animations by Warren Brown & Adam Goddard that explore such themes as the future, existentialism, mustaches and toes.

History[]

Bigbox Singsong’s origins dates back to early-2007 where it was originally named “Big Box”, A file containing the early design of the Toes guy (possibly George.) was taken on May 17, 2007 and uploaded on February 20, 2008 on Flickr. [1]

Big Box was later shown at the Harbourfront Centre as part of the Frame to Frame exhibit and ran from March 14-May 3, 2009.[2][3]

Later, on May 4, 2009, Bigbox Singsong made its own space on the World Wide Web, but, the animations files were unfortunately not archived.[4][5]
