This is a lost episode of Curious Canimals. If you are unfamiliar of this page, please visit the page above. This is a lost episode that had a clip fragment in the Season 1 credits of Canimals (2011), where Fizzy, or in this case, Chen, encountered a real Siamese cat sniffing her, mistaking Chen for a can of food. Then the Siamese cat jumps on the camera as the Canimals were laid back a little. (Note from a different editor: The siamese cat might've been jumping at Coco the owl, as it jumps as something that seems to be flying in the air) This caught my attention because all of the other clips' "parent" episodes were found. There has to be a parent episode of this first clip. There are a few reasons. The first reason is the color of Fizzy. Look at this screenshot down here:

Do you see how the Canimal in the photo is purple with pink hearts, instead of the whole can body being blue, as seen in the photo of modern Fizzy?

There is also another episode that also shown Fizzy in her costume of purple with pink hearts right here:

This episode follows a partially lost series of "Curious Canimals: What is it?". This scene was never shown in any of these episodes:

Curious Canimals Balloon

Curious Canimals Christmas

Curious Canimals Angry Runner

This scene was never mentioned in the media except for this article, and based on the other episodes, it was found on VOOZclub. I think people recorded those videos a long time ago, and then uploaded them two years later or so. Due to the possibility of finding lost video games and lost internet media, this could be found, too. There could have been two ways it was lost, one is that it had a hidden link, or two, it was deleted from the internet, so if anyone was able to search up the link of this phantom episode, it would 404. That is still on debate, because it's existence is unconfirmed since it could be stock footage, something else or created for the credits. There probably were some promos that have shown these clips of this lost episode. If you're asking how I got the name, I did not. I just made up a name because of my assumption of the only part shown, which is just a cat sniffing a can, so it did not have a big origin. If you find any screenshots or clips of any promo or bumper on any network, please email starmanlewis78@gmail.com the file so I can post more of this blog. If you find the whole episode, great! Just do the same thing.

This is the fragment of the lost episode I was talking about, and this is part of the credits of Canimals, and there can be other fragments found in reels, or promos, and I found the clip fragment on Bukali's Kat blog.

Quick note from a new editor: Judging by the model used in the currently found footage (which is the same from Angry Runner), this animation most likely was made in early-mid 2008.

Not quite a exact update but more of a speculation from user PrototypeProject (05/7/24): This may be Coco's debut episode (and not Balloon) since he is seen in an poster from a January 2009 fair[1] and he appeared in a version of the "Canimals in the shopping cart" image which seems to be from 2008 as it includes beta Olive and Koby but Toki and Lion are missing in that version (as Toki debuted in Balloon and I have come to the conclusion that Capri did *NOT* appear in any beta episodes as for a number of reasons including his design looking too similar to his actual debut episode in the Canimals series, Wild Can, and that the same episode was also produced very early on for the Canimals series and a lot of Capri's expressions seemed to have originated from the episode), and the shopping cart image seems related to the other poster I mentioned, which may mean he is from 2008 and there is a good chance his debut was this episode.

OthersVersion2

Notice how he is shown alongside beta Koby (who appeared in Angry Runner from 2008) and beta Olive? (who appeared in Skunk, also from 2008)

This is the first hint for the episode in a long time, and while it's unconfirmed, it is a pretty big piece of speculative information.

Quick note (PrototypeProject): This episode was most likely screened at the 2008 LIMA show (a.k.a. the Licensing International Expo 2008), as it seems to have been made around the same time as Angry Runner, which was screened at the 2008 LIMA show. (As seen in photos posted on hoopsandyoyoteam's Flickr page) It was likely made a little while before of after Angry Runner, being another episode made in early 2008, which may be a reason for Coco appearing since if he appeared in a 2008 episode, it would've been this one if we assume a minor Canimal not apart of the main 6 cats and dogs (Pow, Nao, Poll, Chen, Nea, Bob) was supposed to appear in every CGI and live-action Canimal episode from 2008-2009, as this formula appears in Angry Runner (introduces beta Koby), Skunk (introduces beta Olive) and Balloon (introduces beta Toki and Coco appears as well). This episode might've been a secondary promotional episode to be shown alongside Angry Runner.

Since it was produced around the same time as Angry Runner (as shown by the animation) and finished before June 10th of 2008 (where Angry Runner and theoretically this short were shown at the 2008 LIMA Show), it was most likely produced in the months of February to May of 2008 as seen in a post about VOOZ hiring animators who are good at V-RAY (The software Angry Runner and this short/episode were animated with).[2]

Because of this, there is a possibility it was shown at the 2008 LIMA Show, but this is unconfirmed. A image of the 2008 Licensing International Expo Show with the Canimal booth could possibly have a image from the episode.

Another quick note from PrototypeProject (01/03/25): Despite having a similar model for Chen, the episode may be slightly older than Angry Runner, as Chen's hearts on her can be fully seen in the footage, while Angry Runner and the other episodes after (Skunk and Balloon) have the hearts on her can cut-off. There's still a possibility it was shown at the 2008 LIMA Show due to presumably being made in early 2008 anyway. The episode must have been the FIRST live-action and CGI hybrid Canimal animation if this was the case.

Chen as she appears in Angry Runner

Notice how her hearts are cut-off at the bottom here and the 2008 Found Episode while the siamese cat footage shows her with full hearts that don't end?

The episode used a model showing more complete hearts than Angry Runner, which may mean this episode is older than Angry Runner.

Another note (27/03/2025): Notice how Coco appears in this 2009 image from the 2009 LIMA Show while Toki doesn't, doesn't despite him fitting in the image? (Koby isn't in it to his body design not matching up with the other Canimals)

"W̶e̶ a̶r̶e̶..." CANIMAL

Because he appears with the other 2008 Canimals, this could be another image from early 2009, further proving he is from 2008.

Also, as noticed by TadanoYam, the thing the siamese cat jumping at may have been suspended in air, and could have been FLYING, and Coco is the only Canimal who can fly, so he may have distracted the siamese cat in the epispde as the footage from the Canimals series' ending credits shows. The thing the siamese cat was jumping at may have been flying, or a bird, which points to Coco the owl.
