Blips (Partially Found Children's TV Show 2005)

Blips was a children's series produced by Ragdoll Productions in 2005. The series follows an everyman named Mr. Perfect who would show the viewers how to perform a job or task perfectly. These are ranged from serving ice cream or using exercising equipment. Once it is all done, the mischievous blobs called The Blips would rewind the footage before the narrator (voice of Patricia Routledge) would say he was perfect at the job and start all over again. This time, the Blips would ruin Mr. Perfect's work progress by setting traps or tampering with machines to make them go wrong. After this, Perfect would give up on doing the job or task, and the show would cut to the credits, with Perfect relaxing with a cup of tea and walking home. 26 episodes were produced for CITV. There are various snippets of Blips online but no full episodes are known to be found online. Blips is no longer shown on CITV. No DVD/VHS or Blu-ray versions were released so the only likely places the episodes could be found are at Ragdoll's or DHX Media's offices or taped by viewers at the time.

The first discovery of the show began in 2014, where Mrgexvideo1990 uploaded a video featuring the end credits on a CITV continuity video from 2009. However, this video is currently unavailable. In 2017, a hashtag (#GiveBlipsLove") was shared around on the search for the show, encouraging others to look for the lost series.

Eventually, a user called Neapolitan Sledgehammer Cartoons uploaded a video of the game intro taken from the Blips game on the official website for Blips, now archived and taken down, while another called Sophie Hanssel uploaded a track from Blips ripped from the website. Later that year, a user called CodeLyokoFan2002 found the full website archive and uploaded a higher quality version of the song as well.

On April 5th, 2018, a YouTuber by the name of Yuvi found a link to the game from the CITV website. He found the link on a Google Hangouts call on the same day. The Blips game is hosted on that website.

On August 14th, 2018, DHX media launched a Blips Instagram page @blipsshow hinting at a possible return of the show, as they post content about Blips that very few viewers have seen.

As of 2021, three episodes have been found. Including Movie Star, Builder and Ice Cream Maker. In 2023, director Nigel P. Harris uploaded a VHS recording of Shed Builder.

On February 22nd 2024, the popular YouTube channel Galaxyvault (a successor to the now defunct Hanksterman channel), uploaded 3 whole episodes that were previously lost. These episodes were Pirate, Hiker, and Tailor. On the same day, Galaxyvault also uploaded their own TV recording of the previously recovered episode Builder. On August 7, Galaxyvault uploaded Cleaner, Popstar and Waiter.

It is unknown if the full series will be added to ITVX.
