Boom! Studios is a comic book and graphic novel publisher headquartered in Los Angeles, California, co-founded by Ross Richie and Andrew Cosby in 2005 that publishes full-color science fiction, fantasy, action, horror And super-hero titles.
In 2008, Boom! signed a deal with the Walt Disney Company to produce comic books based on their properties and secured newsstand distribution as part of their new kid-friendly imprint, Boom Kids! The most well known of these licensed titles were comics based on Pixar films, with Toy Story, The Incredibles and Cars starting off as mini series before becoming full on comic series.
However, due to personal issues with the writers of The Incredibles comic, Boom!'s Disney/Pixar comics line did not last long and all titles were cancelled in the fall of 2010.
In 2011 and 2012 Marvel comics were planning to reprint the older Boom! comics under their brand, but unfortunately, (with very few exceptions) the plan was cancelled due to poor sales and most likely have no plans to reprint them.
Nowadays, these comics in their physical copy have become scattered due to how rare and at times obscure these comics and some are most likely out of print. But you can find scans of the covers and various pages online (although scarce and out of order). It doesn't help that these comics were barley released in any other countries outside the US.
It is unknown if Marvel of Disney have any plans to reprint the comics and/or realise them digitally
