Cars 2: The Video Game is a video game developed by Firebrand Games for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS on November 1st, 2011. The game features paint job themes for the player to unlock, they can be unlocked via winning races and completing spy missions on C.H.R.O.M.E. and typing in Spy Codes. However, there are 7 paint job themes (6 for Lightning McQueen and 1 for Mater) that are currently unknown on how to unlock them for the DS version.
Their icons, models and unlocking criteria were revealed on the 3DS version (you have to activate Streetpass to receive the paint job themes). England Lightning McQueen's icon has not been revealed yet, although the skin's model has been found in the files of the game which an image of it was uploaded to NaruHinaFanatic's DeviantArt Page.
On December 2023, a save file containing the missing paint job themes was found and uploaded to YouTube.
