Cars 3 is an American computer-animated sports comedy movie produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures on June 16th, 2017. One of the many deleted scenes of the movie was going to be a flashback of Lightning McQueen and Doc racing on Willy's Butte, however, Doc collapses and dies afterwards. This scene was considered too depressing for a kids movie so they removed it, however, another reason could be Paul Newman's death in 2008 and Owen Wilson's suicide attempt in 2007.
