Animation has been an early cinematic technique since the magic lantern was involved in the 1600s and pre-film toys in the 1800s, and has come a long way through an wide variety of many different shapes, & forms from very basic hand drawn animation, to computer generated animation today. Throughout time, sometimes they can go lost in time, & most likely never see the light of day ever again. Here is the page where you can find almost every documented lost media animation.
