Chopper One is a 1974 action-adventure drama aired on ABC. Jim McMullan and a pre-Battlestar Galactica (1978) Dirk Benedict starred as two flying policemen who fought crime in a police helicopter. 13 episodes were shown against the CBS megahit The Waltons, leading to its cancellation. The series has pretty much never been rerun after it was cancelled, but a manufacture-on-demand DVD set was issued in Region 1 by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment in 2016.
