In 2003, just two years after the cult game Conker's Bad Fur Day, Rareware revealed they began working on a tie-in game for the Xbox. Chris Seavor also revealed some information in various interviews on what the game was going to be about. The plot involved Conker's unsuccessful reign as king, spending the royal treasure on Beer, parties and Hookers much to the people's displeasure. The game begins with Conker's escape from his prison in a ball chain from the tallest tower in the kingdom.
In 2004, when Rareware was bought out by Microsoft, they opted not to finish and release the game and instead decided to reboot Conker's Bad Fur Day with Conker Live and Reloaded. Some concept art of the Tower and various old interviews are saved to preserve the game's existence, however, no gameplay footage has ever been released, and the game was likely recycled due to Rareware's policy with cancelled video games and to turn back on any cancelled projects. In 2019, some info was revealed about the cancelled project.
