Crocadoo is an Australian-German-Taiwanese animated series co-produced by Energee Entertainment, Ravensburger Radio & TV and Wang Film/Cuckoo's Nest (uncredited) for the Nine Network from 1996 to 1998. It follows the adventures of a group of blue crocodiles trying to protect their riverbank from a mad developer named Rufus B. Hardacre. They also have a Japanese dub called " クロカドゥー! " (romaji: Kurokado~ū!, Simply just Crocadoo! in English). The Japanese dub of Crocadoo was produced by the Tokyo-based Tohokushinsha Film Corporation and it was aired on WOWOW, Cartoon Network Asia and its country-specific feed called Cartoon Network Japan, but sadly the Japanese dub can't be found anywhere. Japan was also one of the first Asian countries to air Crocadoo before Cartoon Network Asia Pacific when WOWOW began airing the series dubbed in Japanese in late 1996-early 1997. On January 5, 1998, the Japanese dub of Crocadoo began airing on Cartoon Network Asia and its country-specific feed called Cartoon Network Japan along with the other country-specific feeds of its service including Cartoon Network India following the acquisition of the series by the Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific (the owner of CNN International, TNT and Cartoon Network in Asia and Oceania) on October 27, 1997.
