On May 1, 2014, the "Disney Create" service on Disney.com which allowed kids to create and share their own comics was abruptly shut down. This means that hundreds, if not thousands of comics created by members of the site have been permanently lost.
A small selection of the comics may still be found on sites such as deviantART, but considering the comic creator software skewed towards younger audiences the majority are not.
