Disney Junior was a Australian pay television channel. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company in Australia and was the sister network of the flagship property Disney Channel. The channel was originally launched 2005 as Playhouse Disney, with programming targeted towards children aged 2 to 7, as well as their families, with original series and movies. The channel was relaunched as Disney Junior on 29 May 2011.

The channel's programming is composed of original animated series television series sourced from Disney Junior in the United States, as well as screenings of Disney's theatrical releases and other acquired programming.

After indications that Disney Channel and Disney Junior would close in early 2020 due to the launch of Disney+ and expiring contracts, Foxtel advised that negotiations with Disney were continuing to keep broadcasting the networks. However, Sky confirmed that both channels would close in New Zealand on November 30th, 2019. Foxtel also confirmed that the channels would be leaving their service at the end of February 2020, and on Fetch TV on April 30 of that same year. As of right now, the shutdown sequence of the Australian channel is almost completely lost, aside from a low quality recording uploaded by ''Bella the Crossovia Creator'', which was recorded from their phone. It closed at the same time as the Disney Channel, and it's last episode was an episode of Paprika. During a scene when Olivia growled, the channel cuts to a signal that reads ''Channel unavailable''. As of right now, no high quality of this shutdown has been found. It is possible that this has a very high chance of being found, considering that it was only shut down in 2020, and many people may have watched it and some possibly recorded it.
