History

A trailer for a cancelled game tilted "Donkey Kong Racing" was shown at E3 in 2001. It was supposed to be a sequal to Diddy Kong Racing.

In 2002, Rare (the company behind the game) was bought by Microsoft which meant every game (Including this one) were either cancelled, put on hold, or ported to the Xbox or Xbox 360. This game was later reworked into a another game known as "Saberman Stampeded" which was supposed to be released on the Xbox 360 but unfortunately that game was also cancelled.
