Dr. Dog (Docteur Dog in French) is a 2005 French, comedy, children's, family, animated, television series. It is based on the book of the same title by Babette Cole, who also authored Prince Cinders. It was co-produced amongst France Animation, ZDF, ZDF Enterprises, Canal J SAS, Tiji, and Colorland. It ran for one season and 26 episodes, which are split into two segments, making for a total of 52 segments.
Plot[]
Dr. Dog is no ordinary dog, as in addition to having a speech capability and practicing in the medical field, he is also the Gumboyle family's pet. He is always there to give care to others in need and willing to do it at any cost, whether in preposterous or perilous situations. Despite the seeming difficulty there is of him juggling a double life, he manages to get through it. This doctor is in, as he provides plenty of healthy doses of laughter, which is often considered to be the best medicine and just what is ordered.

So far, the first two segments ("Doing What Comes Naturally" and "Galloping Purple-itis"), played back-to-back with commercials, are available on Youtube. The first twenty segments are available as well in some foreign language. The complete series in English has yet to appear on there and anywhere else.
