Emu was a British children’s programme that aired on the CITV Channel between 8 October 2007 and 2009 continuing to be aired on CITV as repeats until early 2014. Emu was a reboot of the well known puppet by Rod Hull which Rods son Toby Hull revived the series with his own Emu for short 12 minute episodes. The programme ran for two series. The first series was first broadcasted on the 8 October 2007 whilst the second started being broadcast on the 13 September 2009. Overall 52 episodes were made (26 for each series). The show was produced by Endemol/Initial and The Gibson Group (for series 2).

Most of the episodes so far were uploaded by Classic TV From 2004 - 2008 from the first series and also ten episodes from Series 2. Most of Series 2 remains lost with only eighteen episodes found that were originally uploaded by a defunct channel called DavoDoss TV Archive and Rewind Recorder. Some images from the episodes of the second series can be found on a page as well as some information from a production company who co produced the second series called The Gibson Group here: https://www.gibson.co.nz/emu
In 2021, powerspyin1 uploaded an episode of Bathtime For Emu on Internet Archive which is here: https://archive.org/details/emu-bathtime-for-emu
In June 2024, Rewind Recorder uploaded an additional eight episodes from Season 2 from episodes 17-21, 24-26.
