Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends is an American animated TV series on Cartoon Network that follows an 8-year-old boy and his blue ghost-like imaginary friend living in a big mansion with other imaginary friends. Animator Craig McCracken wanted to make a test pilot for the show since he had dogs that are similar to the characters from the show. The test pilot is supposed to be 6 minutes long instead of 22 minutes long, and the characters look very different back then. Bloo was supposed to be called Blob, but then, Craig McCracken decided to name him Bloo since the producers think it was too hard to name him. Cartoon Network first tested the pilot in 2002. The logo looked very different in the pilot as well. Frankie, Mr. Herriman and Mac’s mean older brother Terrence were absent in the pilot. The pilot was never aired on Cartoon Network or Boomerang. The pilot’s slogan is called “All-New Premieres. Imagine That”. The characters look the same as before in the pilot.
