The Sarah & Duck Pilot was made in 2010, by Sarah Gomes Harris under Karrot Animation and their parent company, Karrot Entertainment. Extremely little is known about the pilot, what it's about, or its contents.

What Is Known[]

The pilot likely followed the same form as the rest of the series, being 7 minute long stories. From the screenshots shown, Sarah and Duck look at something in the park from behind a tree, and are shown riding their tandem bike in an autumnal, hilly area with elephants, bridges, and a train in the background.

Differences From the Main Series[]

  • Sarah's eyes are slightly bigger while looking to the side.
  • Duck's style while facing forward is different. Mainly, his eyes appear more layered on the front of his head, and his beak is bigger.
  • Sarah and Duck's tandem bike has a taller design, and is a darker orange color.
    • Both Sarah and Duck do not wear helmets while riding the bike either.
  • The intro (or what looks to be the intro) takes place in a forested area, possibly the park, instead of a patterned background.
    • Two separate intro screenshots exist (seen below). The first, appearing during the showcase, features the pilot designs of Sarah and Duck. The second version has their "current" designs instead. In addition, a path was added and some trees and bushes are placed differently.
