Zudo is still at large driving the digger to wreak havoc. Professor Brainstrain decides that there is no alternative but to stop Zudo by crashing his control code with a new data disabler. At the TV station, MacStarch demands pictures of the digger, though Freeda explains that the camera crew are afraid of being attacked if they go near. MacStarch orders Bootlick in and demands to know where the Telebugs are, to which Bootlick replies that they are "short circuiting". Flustered, MacStarch then decides that he will have to take pictures of the digger himself. Meanwhile, the telebugs spot Zudo approaching a plant with drums full of toxic waste. Samantha knows if the digger bites into the drums, they will explode and the seaside town nearby will be poisoned. Bug jumps in to stop Zudo from tearing apart the fence keeping intruders out of the plant, but the digger knocks him aside with its grabber. Chip quickly uses the data disabler to disconnect Zudo, causing the digger to steer out of control. The bugs then proceed with their plan to separate Zudo from the digger. Unfortunately, the digger is headed towards a cliff where MacStarch is waiting to take pictures with his television truck. The telebugs are left with no choice but to save MacStarch instead. The digger munches the television truck and rolls towards the cliff. It teeters precariously over the edge for a moment before finally plummeting into the sea below, taking Zudo with it. The threat of Zudo and the digger is now over, although Brainstrain and the bugs regret not saving him. However, Zudo is later heard meekly saying "Eee-vil…o-kay" underwater, revealing that he survived.

Bootlick is watching a news bulletin about Arcadia's escape from police custody when the telebugs pass by wishing him a good morning, followed by an unusually large order of mail from the postman. MacStarch notices that he has been given someone else's mail. He's not the only one, everybody in town has been getting the wrong mail. Chip deduces that Arcadia may have something to do with this; he's right. Arcadia is holding the folks at the post office hostage and sabotaging the system's master control. Along the way, Bug introduces Chip and Samantha to a video game character they freed from Arcadia, Pee Dee who offers to help. At the post office, the telebugs find Arcadia stealing the money on the top floor. Bug spots two humans tied up in post bags and dashes off to save them, but the rescue is cut short by an attack from a couple of Arcadia's cronies who are soon disarmed by Pee Dee. Bug and Pee Dee manage to carry out their rescue, while Chip and Samantha take on Arcadia. The two bugs are quickly overpowered by one of Arcadia's more powerful henchmen, a mega blaster who starts shooting away at them rapidly. Chip and Sam shelter themselves behind a reverse energy field as one of the mega blaster's attacks bounces off their protective shield and hits him, disintegrating him. Arcadia makes an escape by setting off the fire sprinklers, forcing the telebugs to remove all of the mail from the building and save it from being soaked. The post office is saved and Bug finds MacStarch's income tax on the ground, to which they all laugh.
