Roundhouse is a sketch comedy series which debuted on SNICK (Nickelodeon's Saturday night programming block) in 1992, but there is a pilot episode that was filmed at Nickelodeon Studios in December 1991 that never aired. The plot was reworked into the 7th episode, First Date.
Differences From the Series[]
There aren't many notable differences from the rest of the series. The most important ones are Chris Dupre replacing Mark David and Dad's Easychair and the carts having different designs.
Existing Footage and Audio[]
4 seconds is in a SNICK promo (Courtesy of GeorgeVHS), there are a few photos online and the pilot recording of I Only Want to Be Me is on the Tumblr page "F*ck Yeah Roundhouse"[1]. The lyrics for the pilot version of the theme were provided to the fansite, The Easychair Expressway, and have been reproduced below for archival purposes. Otherwise, this pilot has faded into obscurity.
