Glitch Techs is a 2020 American animated series created by Eric Robles and Dan Milano, produced by Nickelodeon for Netflix about two teenagers Hi-Five & Miko who are recruited to fight monsters spawned by video-games called Glitches. All episodes as of now are on Netflix with the exception of the show's pilot.
Evidence[]
Evidence for the pilot for Glitch Techs comes from a live stream the show-runners held showing 58 seconds of footage as well as a Storyboard Animatic for it. Though 58 seconds of footage was shown, only half of it retained audio from the pilot and the rest was dubbed over by an extended version of the theme song.
Noticeable differences from the show[]
- The pilot was said to be eleven minutes long.
- Hi-Five didn't have a casted Voice actor yet, and was voiced by a production crew member.
- Hi-Five seems to have been working as a Glitch Tech for a while, and how he met Miko is different from how it happened in the show.
- Bitt spoke in robot noises instead of English.
- Hinobi HQ has a different layout.
- The animation studio is Ankama Studio and characters move differently from the final show.
- An unknown wizard Glitch not seen in the show is a villain.
- Hinobi gear most noticeably the Van and Armor is slightly different.
- Dan Milano mentioned on Twitter the pilot featured Miko's pet cat & her Dog's name was to be revealed as Aerith and Cloud.
