Gogoriki (better known stylized as GoGoRiki) is the first English adaptation of the Russian animated series, Smeshariki (Смешарики). It was dubbed by the American production company 4Kids Entertainment (later known as 4Licensing Corporation) in association with Fun Game Media. It featured its own theme song, heavy dialogue changes, and original songs. Only 101 segments were broadcast in the US, out of the 215 episodes that were produced in Russia. The end of each episode also featured GoTunes, a musical segment with one song per episode.
This dub was soon replaced by the Studio 100 Media English dub.

History[]
The English-language distribution rights to Смешарики were acquired by 4Kids Entertainment from the lesser-known worldwide distributor Fun Game Media in Munich, Germany.[3] Under the name Gogoriki, the dub first premiered on The CW's The CW4Kids block in the United States on September 27, 2008.[4] It began its second season on October 17, 2009, and the dub ended on September 20, 2011 with 34 episodes and 101 segments. Fun Game Media was also producing a German dub of the original series which began airing on KiKA on December 8, 2008.[5]
Gogoriki was one of the last few English dubs that 4Kids Entertainment did before filing for bankruptcy in 2017. When the show was discontinued on the CW4Kids block after its second season in 2011, 4Kids Entertainment never issued any DVDs of the show despite the cult following the show had during its run. Instead, they've published most of the episodes on their official website on at least January 14, 2010.[6]
The dub was also broadcast on Pop in the United Kingdom,[7] on YTV in Canada,[8] and on Network 10 in Australia.[9]
During 4Kids Entertainment's downward financial spiral since the dub's cancellation, Gogoriki's rights reverted back to the Russian production company, Riki Group, who commissioned Studio 100 to produce a new English dub (now with a new name Kikoriki, which is being used to this very day) which was launched on YouTube on March 31, 2010.[10]

75 full episodes of the dub have been found, along with one partial episode. All of the complete episodes have been uploaded to Dailymotion by a user named Ronnie $elfish (formerly known as Sausage Mahoney), while four episodes (The Big Race, Bubble or Nothing, Germs of Endearment and A Rosariki by Any Other Name) were originally uploaded to Russian social media site VK by various users. So far, only a partial clip of the episode Snore Energy has been found.

Additional Details[]
A user, Terry the Cat, had a conversation with Mike Pollock, the voice of Bigoriki in the dub. Pollock confirmed that the new CG series is being dubbed. He even reprises his role as Bigoriki, now called Carlin, in the new Kikoriki dub. He also confirmed that he voices Boboriki, now called Barry, and that Wayne Grayson reprises his role as Wolliriki, now called Wally. He also confirmed that three feature-length films had also been dubbed into English. Pollock, however, does not know where the episodes of the 4Kids dub are.

- The only dub that was based on this dub was the French one.
- When the episodes normally air on Pop in the United Kingdom, instead of airing the episodes together, they air them separately. It is currently unknown why this desicion was made.[11][12]
