Harlem Globetrotters is a 1970 American, sports, family, comedy, animated, television series. It was co-produced amongst Hanna-Barbera Productions, Abe Saperstein Productions, and CBS. It ran for two seasons and 22 episodes. It starred cartoon versions of members who were part of the Harlem Globetrotters team at the time. It was followed by a sequel series titled The Super Globetrotters.
Plot[]
The Harlem Globetrotters travel around the world. But whenever they get into a local conflict, they settle it by playing a basketball game. The opposing team may try as they might to sabotage the Globetrotters' chances of winning, but the Globetrotters find a way around solving it and always come out on top as the victors in the end. The fictionalized Globetrotters are accompanied by their fictionalized coach and team manager, Granny, as well as their dog mascot, Dribbles.
Status[]
The first four episodes are available on Youtube, while the first two are available on Dailymotion. The Kiss Cartoon City site has the majority of episodes, the first 17, but the last five ("Nothing to Moon About", "Pardon My Magic", "Granny's Royal Ruckus", "Soccer to Me", and "Jungle Jitters") are missing. All of these streaming sites have the series as incomplete, but since Kiss Cartoon City has the most episodes out of the sites, it just needs five more to be added, whereas 18 more are needed to be added on Youtube, and 20 more on Dailymotion.
