Before the actual 2004 series of Higglytown Heroes aired on Playhouse Disney, it was originally a mini-series aired in 2003. In it, Eubie, Wayne, Twinkle, Kip and their squirrel friend Fran notice that a friend is in trouble. In order to cross the street with their crossing guard Mrs. Whiskers, they sing a song about it.
There was also footage of the intro for the mini-series found and uploaded onto YouTube on January 4, 2018 by someone who managed to find it in a web archive.
On January 2, 2021, YouTube user, DarkManX16 uploaded a video titled "The Brave Little Toaster Disney Channel Commercials (2003)" Which features two promos with the Mini Show version.
Finally, two bumpers for the final show aired on Disney Channel on September 14, 2004. The two bumpers oddly showed the Mini Show version, despite there being enough footage released to use for them. These bumpers were uploaded to YouTube on May 5, 2021.
