In January 2013, a selfie of Chinese actor Huang Lanjia (黄蓝嘉) was discovered by Yang Ziquan (杨梓泉) on Youku and used in his video, the photo's origin is unknown.

On January 3, 2013, Yang Ziquan on Youku stole and edited the video "中国人高仿法国面具男 (Chinese High-Imitating Loo-ping the Masked Man)" on Youku, naming it "鬼步舞中国潮汕面具男 (Shuffle Chinese Chaoshan Loo-ping the Masked Man)" and post it on Youku, which became his first work related to 潮汕英豪传. In the video, he refers to himself as "黄蓝嘉" in subtitles and points out the shortcomings of the video compared to the Loo-ping's video.[1]

In 2024, Yang Ziquan's video on Youku was discovered in connection with 潮汕英豪传, as was this selfie from his video. After comparing various stills of Huang Lanjia, the character in this photo has been identified as Huang Lanjia himself. However, after the discovery of the photo, someone have looked for it in Huang Lanjia's Qzone and Weibo, and there is no such photo.[2]
