In the Game was a comedy television pilot produced for ABC in 2005 by Gabe Sachs, Evan Weiss and Benny Medina.

The show was supposed to be about a woman named Riley Reid (portrayed by Jennifer Love Hewitt), a former NFL cheerleader and daughter of a football coach (portrayed by Ed O'Neill), who is hired as a sports commentator.

The show was supposed to follow Riley juggling her new career while raising her six-year-old son, Michael (portrayed by Jake Soldera) and looking for the perfect man.

Other cast members of the pilot included Josie Davis (as Brandee), James Patrick Stewart (as T.J.), Christine Baranski, Alyson Hannigan and Sara Gilbert.
