Inside the Macy's Parade was a 1998 Travel Channel documentary about the 1998 parade, which mainly went inside the parade studio and discussed balloon safety following an incident at the 1997 parade in which the Cat in the Hat balloon hit a lamppost and sent a girl into a month-long coma. Aside from the footage at right, none of the documentary has been seen since its original November 24, 1998 airing.
