Lost Media Archive:Rules

Here at the Lost Media Wiki, we are pretty laid back about most things, and we don't mind if certain articles are written in different tones or not, but there are a few things we have issues with in terms of article creation:

-Plagiarism: Any users found to be plagiarising will either receive a warning to rewrite the article in their own words, or will flat out have the article deleted (depending on their history of plagiarising).

-Length: Length is not necessarily an issue, especially if there is a either lack or abundance of information on a certain subject, but, for example, if you create a one or two sentence article for a subject of which significantly more information is widely-known, expect said article to be either rewritten or removed. The same goes for long articles; some long articles can absolutely be justified, due to the sheer extent of information available on a subject - try not to waffle on too much though.

-Relevance: If you wish to create an article for a piece of lost media, said media must be relevant enough to warrant a mention (eg. if someone's YouTube uploads go missing, and they are not famous or noteworthy, then they don't belong here on the wiki).

-Found Media: Please don't make articles for stuff that is already found. The Found Media category is purely for media that has been found since an article's creation, not beforehand (there are a few exceptions to this rule depending on the historical significance of the media in question; check with a staff member first).

-Capitalisation: Please use appropriate capitalisation of text in article titles. Not a big deal, just for consistency's sake.

That's about it! Oh, and try to keep the articles tasteful. We don't want this wiki to degenerate into filth ;)
