ABC affiliate WHTM in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania had its own weather channel on its third digital subchannel that was setup similarly to Weatherscan (the main screen wasn't full and shifted slightly to the top-right, there was an additional screen with the Doppler radar as well as pop-up ads, and there was (maybe) a weather icon above on the left above the smaller screen). Some weather coverage from its main newscast as well as some commercials would often play, and then they would show a "Local on the 8s"-like montage of Doppler radar coverage (which was dubbed the StormTrack Doppler radar by ABC27). This would repeat in a continuous loop (although of course it all gets updated). During severe weather coverage, the StormTrack radar would be the only thing playing on the screen (much like Weatherscan). At some point around 2015, the subchannel shut down and replaced by a GetTV network.
Since ABC27 Weather was only a local channel to the Harrisburg area, it's hard to say that it appears to have been lost to memory. It's possible some local residents have some coverage captured on video, but haven't been uploaded yet. While PA's state capital, Harrisburg itself is a somewhat densely populated city (it was known for being filmed as the "Big City" in the film, Thomas and the Magic Railroad), so it could be easier to find some old footage of the channel in that area.
