Lunar Jim is a Canadian animated science-fiction stop-motion television show oriented around Lunar Jim who is an astronaut on the blue moon L22. It was produced in Canada by Halifax Film and Alliance Atlantis. The show was based on an original concept created by Alexander Bar. It also had a British Dub. It is known to have Ben Small as the titular character, Joanna Ruiz (in Series 1) and Gina Mellotte (in Series 2) as the voice of Ripple, Brian Bowles (in Series 1) and Wayne Forester (in Series 2) as the voice of Eco and Andy Turvey as the voice of T.E.D.
The British dub aired on CBeebies from 3rd April 2006-31st Aug 2012. A few Lunar Jim DVD's have been released in the UK, such as Let's Get Lunar, Blast Off and Moona Luna Adventures and they have the British voices. A Lunar Jim audiobook "Crashing Comets" which was released by BBC Audio in 2007 also has the British dub with additional narration by Gina Mellotte.
