Magic Lamp is an unlicensed GBC game released somewhere in 2000 in Taiwan by Gowin. It is a Mega Man clone. The story goes as is in the intro.
"The story happened on two boys who were fisherman in Arab. One day, they were put out to sea as usual, & caught a strange fish by accident. Suddenly, the fish jumped into a whirlpool, so they were dragged into it too. When Sata woke up, he found his good friend Tank disappeared. During the way of his adventure, he came to an old sanctuary, & walked into it. He arrived at a memorial temple. There was a shield inlaid with crystal. He curiously picked it up, & tried to wear it. 'What's this? It looks like a shield. Oh, what's about the sound?' Suddenly, a crowd of smog was burning out from the shield. The shield opened its eyes. 'You are the person who set me free. From now on, you are my master. You can go out on condition that you light the magic lamp. There isn't much time left. Please use my power to leave here. Because the two seals were undone at the same time, this sanctuary will collapse soon. Please run away quickly!' Then Sata began his adventure!
