I think you should try to upload the rest of your things to Zippcast in the meantime, including the Mumfie episodes and the remaining Captain's Treasure House bumpers. You'll be very popular on Zippcast if you do and make my day (especially since tommorow's my birthday!) I've been dying to relieve my childhood with your Mumfie recordings that are so copyright-friendly that they can be only uploaded to a site like Zippcast.
And where is the one about making music that played before Mumfie? Also, can you put up the closing segment as well ("It's time already?"). You should also post your Mumfie recordings to MEGA, and upload the Mumfie Fox Family credits and original Mumfie Melodies segments (which are currently lost and different from the modern credits and Mumfie Melodies) onto there as well. I've promised to help you.
Oh, I have good news! my brother also says he'll be moving in September at the latest, and my parents say they may mail him his old VHS tapes and asked me to test them. Here's to crossed fingers I still have what you seek!
Thank you very much for trying to put up your Mumfie episodes on MEGA as well as those two Kangaroo segments! I possibly have to wait a while for the Mumfie and missing Captain Kangaroo segments as the recorder's broken. Am I correct?
Lance is right. Lionsgate doesn't care if you upload anything Mumfie on any site that isn't YouTube. So it's okay to upload them to MEGA, just NOT YouTube. Some people have uploaded stuff from risky companies on there with no problem. You can register for an account on MEGA to upload the Mumfie stuff on. It's pretty easy to sign up there.
If you don't feel like joining mega, then there's Zippcast , which also isn't as copyright-happy as YouTube in. Heck, they don't give a flip about any copyrighted thing-I've found a ton of Legends of the Hidden Temple episodes on there! You can possibly upload your Mumfie stuff, with ads, to there. I haven't tried it myself, but it may be worth trying just for your Fox Family stuff in case it gets taken down.
BTW, do you have these segments called "Cool Gang" that aired on The Captain's Treasure House, which involved penguins that sang songs answering questions like "What is a shadow" or "How do birds fly?"
CreepyMinerLance wrote: Hey. I know this show means a lot to you, so I can help you with it if you wanna. It was a part of my childhood, too, like most things on this wiki.
Hey Lance, did you watch Mumfie as a kid, besides what I gave you?
Also, as a note about the Mumfie page, the episodes aren't "found" yet. Only episode 7 had the English audio. We still need the English audio for the other 16 episodes. I am getting a DVD from iOffer with a few English episodes on it.
That's ironic, because whenever Babar came on qubo, I would always get up and play because it signaled the end of the Big Idea shows (3-2-1 Penguins and LarryBoy Stories and VeggieTales on TV , to be exact). Later on a different show would come on (usually Jane and the Dragon). Later on during qubo's run (when VeggieTales ended), I learned to appreciate these two shows.
Concerning the DVD, it is ripped from the British VHS that came out of those episodes. This means it also contains the "Story So Far" recaps . I wish they released the third and fourth volumes so I can see the first thing that scared me as a child (a scene at the end of the original episode 12), since Britt Allcroft says she cannot release them and told me to contact Lionsgate. Well, it looks like I'm off to contact them!
