BET Movies, The all-black movie channel Launched in 1997. It was the first black movie channel dedicated to showcasing black talent in front of & behind the camera. Uncut & Commercial-free 24/7/365. While it changed to Starz in Black nowadays, the stars we wanted to see & the movies we wanted to see them star in, said Hello, introduced themselves before saying "You're Watching BET Movies. The First black Movie Channel." Then shifts into the BET Movies logo.
