Molly of Denali - Pilot vs

What Molly looks like in the pilot (left) vs. what she looks like in the actual show (right). Note the differences between the eyes, mouths, and outlines.

Molly of Denali is a PBS Kids show produced by Atomic Cartoons and WGBH Boston. It premiered on affiliates on July 15, 2019. It chronicles the adventures of Molly Mabray, an Alaska Native girl.

The show was announced in May of 2018, using images from what appears to be the series pilot. However, the show's official design was revealed in a sneak peek clip uploaded on the PBS Kids YouTube channel in January of 2019.

Prior to 2019, a clip of the show using the pilot art-style was uploaded on the SGPTV website. It involved Molly, her mom Layla, and her friend Tooey getting lost in the wilderness. Some soup is spilled on their map, and the dog Luka eats it. Then, Molly says "Nice going, Luka". Then, Molly says that she remembers the map so they can get back home. However, in 2019, the clip was taken down and replaced with the music video for the show's theme song.

Pictures of Molly of Denali featuring the old art-style can easily be found on the internet, and in August of 2019, a behind-the-scenes clip was uploaded on the official Molly of Denali YouTube channel, featuring some pilot footage.

A complete collection of HD photos and videos of the show's pilot can be found in this Google Drive folder

If anyone can use the Wayback Machine on the SGPTV page for Molly of Denali, and somehow find the missing clip, that would be great! NeptuneID13 (talk) 22:33, August 13, 2019 (UTC)
