Back in 2002 My Chemical Romance released an album called "Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love".

They got pretty popular with a song titled "Vampires Will Never Hurt You", but still, they were not too popular.

They had a tiny website where you could look at song lyrics. And there were pictures on the side, and if you pressed them they would take you to different songs. But one picture is all black saying "Nine Volt Heart". But if you press it, it takes you to a broken link. This song was not on Bullets, when I first heard of this. I thought it might be a demo of another song. Like how "Drowning Lessons" originally title was "Wish You Away". And "Our Lady of Sorrows" originally being titled "Bring More Knives".

So when I first heard of this I thought this song might be a very early demo of "Our Lady of Sorrows".

Then, Matt Pelissier (the original drummer) stated: "Nine Volt Heart was an older song that never ended up on Bullets". While Frank and Gerard stated: "This song was only played live once, and it sucked so bad that they never played it live again."

So fans tried to figure out what the song might be, so some fans made and or leaked the lyrics. But the lyrics sound very closely to the song "Bodies", by the Smashing Pumpkins. My Chemical Romance has said that they really looked up to bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Morrisey.

So there's a huge chance that they covered this song but never released it.
