Poppets Town (also stylized as PoppetsTown) is a Canadian-Spanish-Japanese animated comedy children's television series that used to aired on Knowledge Network and TVO in Canada as a part of their Knowledge Kids and TVOKids block and aired from January 1, 2009 to May 1, 2011.[1][2] It has also been broadcast internationally on Disney Channel and Disney Junior in Certain Countries, but it never aired in its original English language in the United States. While in the United States, it only aired with the Latin American Chilean Spanish dub on Discovery Familia from 2011 to 2014, which is considered lost nowadays.

The series was produced by Decode Entertainment in Canada, Neptuno Films in Spain, and OLC Rights Entertainment in Japan. The original English version was recorded at Studio 306 in Toronto, with 13 additional voices. The series' pilot episode was made between 2007 and 2008, which was called "PopetsTown", but was never released (only the extended theme song). The series was based on the characters created by Japanese author Jun Ichihara in 2004. The series only has a total of 26 episodes (52 segments) and 1 season. The plot is about a blue anthropomorphic dog named Blooter and his best friends Patty and Bobby as they solve everyday problems with their other friends in Poppets Town.

The search of Poppets Town when it got taken off TV[]

Cartoons_Poppets_Town_-_Mistaken_Mistake

Cartoons Poppets Town - Mistaken Mistake

The first Poppets Town episode to exist on the internet (including on YouTube).

However, since around 2012 or 2013, Knowledge Kids and TVOKids had stopped airing Poppets Town; the series no longer airs on television, has not been released on DVD, and no TV recordings of the episodes have surfaced (yet). As a result, the search for the series on the internet started out with the episode "Mistaken Mistake" being uploaded on YouTube, which was uploaded by Neptuno Films themselves since October 10, 2011 (but the channel was rebranded to "Toot Toot Kids" for an unknown reason).

Findings[]

Poppets Town TVShoaz

The original footage of the Poppets Town episodes were uploaded by TVShoaz on YouTube from 2019 to 2022.

Other episodes survived on YouTube; however, but they are in Turkish language.[3]

TVShoaz Era (May 23, 2019-May 2022)[]

Years later, on May 23, 2019, all 26 episodes had been uploaded by a YouTube user named "TVShoaz" (with 4 of them by its backup account "TVShoaz2"),[4] until the termination of both channels in May 2022, and the series seemed to be lost again.

Show's YouTube Channel Era (December 8, 2022-present)[]

Poppets Town Original YouTube Channel

All the episodes are back on the Show's Original YouTube Channel before its termination in early November of 2023.

Poppets_Town_-_Crying_Scene_2

Poppets Town - Crying Scene 2

The first clip of "The PoppetsTown Castle" to ever exist in the widescreen version (but it was originally uploaded on the TVShoaz channel and the show's original YouTube channel before its termination, and it was found again by the show's third YouTube channel on October 26, 2025).

7 months later, from December 8 to December 25, 2022, the show received its own YouTube channel where all episodes were uploaded as 12-minute segments. Unfortunately, the channel got terminated in early November of 2023. As of September 2023, most episodes have been uploaded on the Internet Archive by a user named "TommyTonka_Official".[5] Later from January 30 to February 3, 2024, a fanmade YouTube channel uploaded half of the series back on YouTube.[6] Unfortunately, the channel got terminated again on March 13, 2025, but not so fast; there's a new fanmade YouTube channel that has recently been made by that "Toonlandia2008 guy".[7]

Rare Oddities Era (May 16, 2025-present)[]

Finally, a YouTube user named "Rare Oddities" uploaded all 19 lost segments back on YouTube from May 16 to August 9, 2025. The widescreen versions of "Kite Flight", "The PoppetsTown Castle", and "Lights Out" were found by the show's third YouTube channel on October 26, 2025. As of August 9, 2025, the series has been fully found. So far, the widescreen version of "Quack Quest" — and even the original 12-minute episode of "Clubhouse Power" — are yet to be found.

As for people who live in the United States, the show is also available on iTunes and Amazon.[8]
