Red Velvet is a South Korean K-Pop girl group formed by SM Entertainment in August 2014. The group consists of five members - Irene,
Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri. In 2014, SM Entertainment was under fire for sensitive imagery in the music video for the girl group's debut single, titled "Happiness". The imagery in question included footage of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, as well as footage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, both of which were seen in the background of the original video. The director of the video said he used them for the purposes of making a collage, and there was no malicious intention behind it. A new version of the music video was uploaded without the imagery.
The original version is considered lost.
