Revolutionary Girl Utena (少女革命ウテナ Shōjo Kakumei Utena) is an anime directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara, first broadcast in 1997. It is a deconstruction of typical shoujo anime, inverting and playing with many of the typical tropes associated with the genre.
The OP to the original broadcast of the show seems to be trimmed from a slightly different cut of the opening theme, Rinbu Revolution, featuring distinctly different background vocals as well as a fuller-sounding background beat. The version released on the anime's official OST seems to be a later revision of the song. It's somewhat unlikely that anyone has the full version of the revision used to make the original opening.
