Robinson Sucroe is a 1994 French, Canadian, German, British, family, comedy, animated television series. It was created by Christophe Izard with co-production by France Animation, CINAR (now WildBrain), Ravensburger Film & TV, Videal GmbH, France 2 (FR2), British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Centre National du Cinema et de l'image animee (CNC), and Telefilm Canada. Plot[]

A janitor named Robinson Sucroe is assigned by New York Herald manager and head editor, Mr.Floydd, to visit a perilous island to write reports on it weekly, much to rival Julian Uglyston's chagrin. When Robinson arrives at the island called Crab Island, it turns out not to be so perilous after all nor is it deserted. Crab Island is resided and shared by three groups of inhabitants: Several shipwrecked people known as the Everydays and a pair of rival pirate crews. Robinson and his best comrade, Wednesday, work with each other, writing fictional stories about Crab Island, fabricating that it is indeed too perilous to visit so that they can keep outsiders from wanting to go there, and keep them in the dark. But Mr. Uglyston knows just what they're up to and goes to great lengths to prove the opposite is true about it, and expose Mr. Floydd's lies.

Status[]
