Stellina (also known as Little Star in Italian or Starlet) is a 2008 Italian adventure animated television series. It was created by Lucia Zei. Co-production was amongst Rai Fiction, The Animation Band, Pictor Media Animation, and France 3. It ran for a single season consisting of 26 episodes.
Plot[]
In the 1960s, Stellina is a pre-teen girl who does things her own way and was born into the circus lifestyle. She is an aspiring acrobat. Despite never having received a proper education nor lived in a stable home, she is accustomed to being a vagabond and getting the love that engulfs her from her odd, circus family. Eventually, social services learn about her situation and when they attempt to have her sent to an orphanage, she escapes the circus, leaving that life behind, and goes on the run to evade capture.

Status[]
The Animation Band's Youtube channel has the intro and a couple of episodes: One in English ("Lost in the Mountains"); the other in Italian ("Brutti Incontri" or "Bad Encounters"). Other than those and a trailer promoting it, there's currently not much else material available and most of the series remains missing, though they can be found in Youtube and Dailymotion.

The English dub of the first episode, "A Star Is Born" has been added to Youtube. (6-28-23).
Starting from December 10 2023; 22 whole episodes of Stellina has been uploaded and archived by a YouTube channel named "VİDEOdur" . Though, these episodes are all Turkish dubbed. With only episodes 4, 10 , 11 and 12 missing; the channel covered through most of the episodes in between (the last episode uploaded being the 26th).
