Super Mario World was released on November 1990 as a launch title for the Super Famicom.

There was a set that contained music heard in the game, which was available at snesmusic.org.

By looking at the info, there was this note:

Update 2:

-"Unused Song" removed. Seems it's not located in

the actual game's music data; it appears to be a

corrupt version of the title theme from the

Nintendo DS game, "New Super Mario Bros."

Update:

-Six new jingles and an unused song added.

As you can see, there was an unused song in the set that was removed for not being an actual song (and that it was a corrupted version of the title theme from New Super Mario Bros.).

The set containing this song isn't archived on the Wayback Machine, making it lost... until it was found on an SPC archive, named GoodSPC. The song could be listened here.
