According to an article entitled Licensing Roundup, a new version of the Muppet Show, entiled "The Muppets Present", was set to launch in 2001. It was to include new Muppet characters alongside the older Muppets. More info was not revealed and the show did not air that year. However a message board post two years later claimed that the show was going to air in 2004. It is unknown if any episodes of this version of the Muppet Show were produced. Eventually the "Muppet Show" would get a remake in 2015 simply called "The Muppets".
