The Complete Works of Thomas the Tank Engine (known as きかんしゃトーマス 大全集 in Japanese) is a series of 8 DVD's and VHS tapes that were released by Fuji TV in 2000 (DVD versions) and 2002 (VHS versions), each release contains either 9 or 10 randomly selected episodes of Thomas and Friends with all of the releases combined comprising the first three series of the show, the DVD versions would have a follow up series released in 2001, consisting of episodes from Series' 4 and 5.
While the DVD versions are quite easy to find on eBay and Japanese marketplace sites, the VHS variants are almost impossible to come across by, especially recently, the reason for this is due to Fuji TV issuing the tapes as rental-only releases, meaning that acquiring at least one of the volumes would be extremely hard and probably expensive as well, so far, none of the VHS volumes have been archived on the internet, with the only known screenshot of them being the title card for Volume 4, however, all of the volumes' covers have been scanned.
According to a Japanese Thomas wiki, the VHS releases have some differences compared to the DVD ones, for example, the credits song for the Volume 1 VHS is "Thomas' Anthem", while on the DVD it's "The Island Song".
