The Cubeez (Partially Found 2000-2006 TV Series)

The Cubeez is a British computer-animated preschool education television series that premiered on GMTV's Kids block in June 2000 until it was removed from the channel sometime in 2003. It also aired on Nick Jr. from October 2001 to October 2003, and then on Channel 4 from around 2005 to mid 2009 and has since faded into obscurity. It is aimed at pre-school children aged 2–5.

Plot[]

The four box-like characters, Bozz, Doody, Dink and Tizzy are accompanied on their adventures by a talking chalkboard (voiced by Marc Silk in season 1 and Claire King in season 2) and a variety of creative characters. Each episode has a strong educational element and features an adventure taking place at a specific location.

Findings[]

The show ran for 26x18 minute episodes, 13x23 minute episodes and 52x11 minute episodes. Out of the 91 episodes, only 58 have have resurfaced. Most episodes from season 1 are considered to be lost, while the entirety of season 2 can be found on the official Cubeez YouTube Channel.

The 18 minute episodes are very rare and were never repeated again after the show was removed from GMTV Kids. They have never had a home media release either. Only 5 of the 26 episodes have been found so far.

The 11 minute episodes aired on Nick Jr from 2001-2003 and Channel 4 from 2005-2009. One episode was recorded off Channel 4 sometime in May 2006.
