In 2001, following the success of the Teletubbies omnibus editions which were broadcast on the BBC on Sunday mornings, there were 18 40-minute episodes of the Tweenies produced, which featured the Tweenies at home instead of playgroup usually in their bedroom talking about recent & past episodes from Series 4-6 which was originally broadcasted in 2000-2001 with clips. These have been shown intermittently for 2 series in the UK on BBC2 beginning with the first series on 30 September 2001 to 16 December 2001 on Sunday mornings, One episode was shown on BBC1 on 30 December 2001 during Christmas and act as "Omnibus/Compilation" editions, Two further episodes have been broadcast in March 2003 on BBC1 on Saturday mornings with repeats for the next 2 weeks between 8 - 29 March. They were repeated once since their original transmissions from 7 April - 24 June 2007 on CBeebies on both Saturday and Sunday but have not been repeated since unlike the 20-minute episodes which are currently repeated to this day.
